I don’t know how you all feel about combat boots, but I love strappin’ mine on with just about anything! They’re comfy, practical, and popular.

I’m sure we’re questioning how this trend is going to transition into Spring. (That’s usually for a pair of cute sandals, right?) Try pairing them with a dress or even a pair of shorts. I’ve decided to stick to Jeremy Scott for today. At first glance at these sneakers, I was instantly intrigued. Fuzzy, cute animals, all wrapped into a shoe. American fashion designer, Jeremy Scott has done it once again. I know that any one of us can pull it off, but, would we want too?

Spring is right around the corner and a big trend that we’ve been seeing since last year is the floral prints. Everywhere! Various designers have concocted beautiful floral designs. From dresses and skirts, to hand bags and shoes.

Floral + Stripes: You are able to mix stripes with just about any print seeing how they are not considered to be a pattern.

Has everybody taken a gander at the new Petro Zillia Forever21 collection? The collection is designed by the zany Nony Tochterman. She has been awarded the Moss Adams Fashion Innovator Award.

Petro Zillia was launched in 1996. The collection hit stores February 11th and the pieces are priced from $5.80 to $32.80.

My personal favorite seems to be the cropped cardigan with the hearts. With stripes, hearts, & vivid colors, what’s not to love?

Lips love Spring, too!

Winter’s coming to an end and we’ve all made sure to lather and care for our lips during this wretched weather, right? We have to have our pout set and read for Spring! I’m sure we’re all anticipating the new lip coIors that are to come.

I love adding color to my lips. Whether it’s nude, glossy, or super bright.. something’s gotta go on them! I’m excited about all the new colors coming for this Spring, but it seems the hottest hue is Orange. I remember when I was a little girl playing around with lipstick and wearing orange; i’ll have no problem putting it on my lips again!

This hue will help bring out not only your eye color but your highlights as well. You may be asking yourself if you can pull off this color? Truth is, anyone can wear orange! It complements any skin tone.

It’s such a great trend, and definitely worth a shot. Try it out and play around with your makeup. Who knows, you may fall in love with a color you never thought you’d wear! J is for Jeggings!

I was sitting at the local coffee shop attempting to read, when I overheard some girls talking about jeggings. (Clearly, I was not that into my Reporting Vietnam book!)

Now, I know jeggings have been around for awhile already. They’ve been an ongoing trend! Yet, I keep hearing the age old question that I’ve heard many of us ask: What are jeggings?

In a nutshell, they are basically extremely skinny jeans that look and feel like leggings made to look like denim. (hence, jeggings. jeans + leggings = jeggings)

Throughout the conversation, I heard mumblings of “she was wearing them wrong!” So.. now.. how do you wear them? You don’t have to be skinny or even tall with long legs.

First and foremost, though… please make sure they fit your body type. Dark pair? Petite pair? Black slims? If you’re short: wear them with some cute shoes that will elongate those gams! If you’re curvy: pair them with a eye catching tunic!

*jegging DON’T: never wear a pair that’s a size too small, dolls! these are meant to be form fitting and make your body look fabulous! let’s try to prevent any unwanted mishaps.

Now, that sounds easy, right?

… unless you’re a mermaid. :)

For us non-mermaids, these are something chic to pull on quickly if you’re in a hurry but still look great and feel comfortable!
